Muscle relaxation monitor

Monitoring of the relaxation level during and after the general anaesthesia where muscle relaxants have been applied, is one of the basic conditions of safe anaesthesia application.

In routine practice without relaxation monitor, the administration of muscle relaxants is more or less empirical and many times unnecessary., causing overdosage which can further cause avoidable complications in the post-operative period. On the other hand underdosage can worsen working conditions of the surgeon as wel as anaesthetist.
